This Week’s Winners and What I’m Reading

The Winners

There’s two winners this week.  First off, The Days of Noah, the winner is Barbara T. from Louisiana. And Rose M. from Arkansas won The Pastor’s Wife Wears Biker Books. Thanks to everyone who entered.

What I’m Reading

This week I finished two books, A Bride for All Seasons and Good, Clean Murder: Plain Jane Mystery. These were both good books and I’m glad I read them. I’ll be giving away A Bride for All Seasons this week with a full review. Good, Clean Murder is one that I had on my Kindle that I got for free. So no review or give away of that one. But I will say it was cute and a light read. I hope I get a chance to read other books by this author.

What I’m Reading Now

I’m reading A Bride for Noah by Lori Copeland and Virginia Smith. It is set in the 1800’s as the Oregon Territory is being settled. It’s a fun book so far, which is what I expect when these two authors get together. Although, the title gives away the ending it’s going to be interesting to see the journey the authors take us to get there.

I’m also reading the newest book by Lis Wiehl, Fatal Tide which is the third book in the East Salem series. It’s been awhile since I read book two and I’ve read a lot of books since then, but the author does a great job of giving details from the previous books that jogs my memory. The author’s style is very engaging and fast paced.

I realized this past week that Christy Barritt has written two more books in her Squeaky Clean Mysteries. The Kindle versions were on sale this week so I HAD to buy them. Unfortunately, I read a little bit of the description of book 5 that gives away how book 4 will end. (Add a sad face here) I really like the main character, Gabby St. Clair, in this series.

I love to read, especially mystery books. Though in the past couple of years I've been a part of the ACFW Book Club and have found some wonderful writers. It's been fun to interact with authors.
