What I’ve been reading and this weeks winner!

And the Winner of…

The Prayer Box is Bonnie from Kentucky! Congrats I’ll be sending your book out this week.

What I’ve Been Reading

This week I finished two excellent books!

First was The Pastor’s Wife Wears Biker Boots this book was so good. It had some humorous moments as I expected from the title, but it also dealt with some tough issues that parents of an autistic child face. Not only does this mom have to deal with an autistic child and the challenges that brings, but she’s the pastor’s wife of a small country church. A lot of real life truths in that storyline as well. I’ll be giving away a copy of this book either this Tuesday or the next.

The other book I finished this week was Memory’s Door, but James Rubart. This book stretches the imagination with its primary storyline, but there are some strong Biblical truths. I hope to have an interview with Jim to go along with the review and give away.

Reading Currently

I’m reading Amanda Flower’s third installment in the Appleseed Creek Mystery, A Plain Disappearance.  I’ve really enjoyed this series and am looking forward to seeing what happens to our computer geek, Amish Whisper and the rest of the gang.

I’m also reading, A Bride for All Seasons, by Margaret Brownley, Robin Lee Hatcher, Mary Connealy, and Debra Clopton. I won this book in one of the give aways. I really excited to win it because I’ve only read a book by one of these authors, that I didn’t care for. I’ve heard so many good things about that author I wanted to try another book by her. I’ve also heard good things about the other authors. I’m still in the first section but so far it’s been enjoyable.

I feel like my tagline should be, too many books and not enough time!

Have a blessed week!

About HollyMag321

I love to read, especially mystery books. Though in the past couple of years I've been a part of the ACFW Book Club and have found some wonderful writers. It's been fun to interact with authors.
