Didn’t get a lot read this week, but did finish Seaside Harmony (Postcards from Misty Harbor Inn #1) It was a very enjoyable story. I loved the characters and the contrast between the sisters and their personalities. The story was cute and dealt with relationship issues that families and friends experience. It did have some surprises. It’s the type of story that makes me want to read more. Looking forward to reading book 2.

The Living Room – I love Robert Whitlow, but this story hasn’t grabbed me yet. I can’t really pinpoint what it is about this story. It’s just not grabbing me.  It’s a unique story and there are now lawyers involved, a trademark of Whitlow stories.

Multiply - I had a chance to spend a lot of time in this book at the end of the week. I really like the way Francis Chan is presenting the idea of discipleship. Bottom line is you need to be a disciple yourself before you can disciple others. And if you don’t love people and you try to enter a discipleship relationship with them you are no better than the pharisees.

Faith Dare – This has been a good book. I am struggling with the daily readings, especially the weekend ones. But the author does a good job of challenging you each day. I look forward to the discussion time through www.womensbiblecafe.com

I also evaluated The 30 Day Praise Challenge by Becky Harling. LOVED it! I’ll be doing a full review on it Tuesday and even though I my review copy is an ebook. I’m going to give away a copy of this book. The author did a great job giving practical ideas about how to praise God each and every day as well as examples. I look forward to going through this book day by day in September or October.
