But little do they know that love is already on the way—for each of them! Enjoy four page-turning romances, each written by a best-selling romance author. Includes reading group guide. 400 pages, softcover from Nelson.

My Review: I love these books! It is so much fun to watch how they author each tell the story of one of the characters while weaving the stories together into one very enjoyable novel. Each of the girls have their own unique pasts and current circumstances that show a different aspect of God’s love and His ability to work in individual’s lives. Each story characters end up being better people at the end than they were at the beginning. Showing that each of us have room to grow.

The only thing I don’t like about this type of book, is the authors don’t have the opportunity to really develop intricate plots. I would have loved to read more about Natalie’s journey in adoption. Or maybe an epilogue telling what Smitten looks like 5 years later.  Maybe we could see more of how Smitten brings people together!?!?!?

This is a feel good book, that is an enjoyable read. I love it when these ladies get together and write. I hope there’s more in the future!

I did receive this book from the publisher, but was under no obligation other than to give my honest opinion.

I love to read, especially mystery books. Though in the past couple of years I’ve been a part of the ACFW Book Club and have found some wonderful writers. It’s been fun to interact with authors.

  1. I’m not a big romance novel reader, but I really enjoyed these stories. Even though they were all written by different authors, the way they revolved around the town and the dream of creating a new atmosphere to draw in tourists made them feel like a cohesive unit–all very well written and all fun reads.

Welcome! I appreciate your thoughts!
