J.T. Logan spent a lot of time in Chicago putting away bad guys, now he’s a sheriff in a small town, where crime is minimal. Until the day his youngest daughter is kidnapped.
This is the second book I’ve read by Margaret Daley, the first So Dark the Night is based in the same location with many of the same characters. This story is equally exciting and suspenseful. Margaret does a great job of drawing you into the action and will keep you turning the pages.
I must admit I didn’t figure out who the "villain" was until she revealed it at the end.
This book may be difficult to find, but well worth the effort.
