I’ve been a big fan of Robert Whitlow and his books. I’ve read all of them by “Jimmy” (sorry Mr. Whitlow that one didn’t appeal to me.) His first one “The List” came me on the edge of my seat.

“Deeper Water” didn’t grab me the way many of his other books have, maybe it’s Brandilyn Collins’ fault. The last book I read was her “Seatbelt Suspense” novel “Amber Morn.”

In this story we have Tammy Lynn Taylor or is it Tami Taylor? A third year law student from a conservative and strict holiness background. She was raised in the strictest environment, however, this isn’t a story of how she rebels from that strict upbringing. It is a story of how as a young Christian woman who is venturing into a very worldly arena learns how to stand up for what she believes.

This is also a story of the relentless pursuit of truth, regardless of the consequences. It is also a story of forgiveness and redemption.

It appears this is the first in a series for Robert Whitlow. Hopefully he plans to continue developing the characters he introduced in this story. These characters are very real and very easy to relate with and most importantly they’re likable.

I look forward to reading more of his work.
