This has been a busy fall and I have fallen WAY behind on my reading goal. Part of my problem is I would always read at the gym while I was on the treadmill. But in March I adopted a new dog and he loves to be out for walks. He’ll come up to me and put his paw on my leg and if I ignore him, he’ll walk to the other side of me and put his paw on my other leg. When he thinks we are going for a walk he’ll spin in circles. He’s a sweetie but has definitely cut into my reading time. Here’s my little cutie pie wrapped up in a towel.
What I’ve Been Reading:
I’m not a huge fan of Amish, but I like the ones that mix the worlds of the Amish and the Englisch. Especially when there’s a murder mystery involved. Just getting started with this one and it’s shaping up to be a good one.
The other one I’m reading is:
I’m still early in the story but it has been interesting. Davis Bunn is an author that I avoided for awhile because I just didn’t care for his style. But I tried him again with Strait of Hormuz (A Marc Royce Thriller Book #3) and really enjoyed it. Although this story isn’t part of the Marc Royce series, I’m already liking the main characters and look forward to where they go in this story.
More next week!
