Eyes of Elisha – Brandilyn Collins

Finished this book a couple of nights ago, while watching the Olympics. As I thought it was an intense book. In this one, I started getting the feeling I knew who the killer was going to be but you weren’t quite sure until the end. It was another fast paced story for Collins. You have a young Christian woman who trying to find her way in her faith as well as trying to understand how God is speaking to her.

She has a husband who doesn’t share her faith or even pretend to understand it. This adss another dimension to the story.

This story was full of reminders including God’s power and ability to speak to His children. We also see what can happen when we get ahead of God. The third lesson to be learned is the importance of living our faith outside of the church as well as inside it!

I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

I love to read, especially mystery books. Though in the past couple of years I've been a part of the ACFW Book Club and have found some wonderful writers. It's been fun to interact with authors.

Welcome! I appreciate your thoughts!
