Out of the Shadows – Sigmund Brouwer
I love being on vacation!!! I’ve finished 3 books already this week. I wasn’t sure when I started this book, I’d finish it. It didn’t hook me until about half way through. So many “flash backs” I was getting dizzy. But this turned out to be a wonderful story of forgiveness (hmm… a pattern I seem to find). A young man’s journey to find the mother who left him, would he be able to handle the truth he’d find? Indeed, we are reminded that once we turn control over to God we can handle the truth no matter what it is.
Betrayal Of Trust (Love Inspired) – Tracey V. Bateman
The 3rd book in the Mahoney Sisters Trilogy it had much of the things I expected. It was made very clear in book 2 Raven had left the faith of her upbringing. What we didn’t know is why? This was a well told story of the journey back to faith. Since her mother’s death Raven has shut the entire world out letting no one get close to her. What will it take to for God’s love to break through her shell?
